For more than 40 years, Kistenmacher Auto + Technik (KAT) has stood for reliability, continuity and international market expertise in the trade of quality made in Germany spare parts for the automotive industry.

Our roots date back to 1900, when E.G. KISTENMACHER GmbH & Co. KG was founded. With the establishment of KISTENMACHER Auto + Technik GmbH & Co. KG in 1988, the foundation was laid for today’s international orientation. Since 2020, KAT has operated as an independent company and has continuously strengthened its role as a global link between renowned brands and international markets. Today, we supply customers around the world with a portfolio of more than 10,000 active items for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and trailers. Our range includes original parts and high-quality made in Germany components from leading manufacturers such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Volkswagen, DAF, IVECO, MAN, Scania and Volvo, as well as products for BPW and SAF trailers.

In addition to our international spare parts business, KAT stands for proprietary solutions backed by a high level of technical expertise. One example is the TRI-RIM® system for three-piece truck rims, which has been successfully used worldwide for decades and stands for safety, precision and durability.

With our own brand KAT – STATE OF THE PART, we underline our commitment to products that represent internationally recognized quality according to German standards and create trust worldwide.

Our business activities focus on export markets in the Near and Middle East, North and Southeast Asia, North Africa, Oceania and South America. In these regions, we maintain long-standing partnerships based on trust, reliability and a deep understanding of local market requirements.

A powerful logistics setup with goods consolidation in Hamburg and Dubai forms the foundation of our international business. Complemented by numerous cross-trade activities, we ensure stable supply chains, high availability and predictable lead times — even in demanding markets.
